It's not easy to find wool in Queensland in this hot sticky weather
but I 've found some and the knitting needles are busy clicking away so I can send a couple of squares to Sue for her Sunshine Blankets for the Elderly.

Hope to get some done before my visitors arrive on Wednesday.

  1. Hi Helsie,
When are you going to try crocheting? Just kidding. I tried to knit years ago but found out I couldn't knit and watch TV at the same time. Well, at least back then I couldn't. I'm crocheting little three leaf clovers for my BUNCO group (I'm hosting next month on St. Patrick's Day). Oh, I hear hubby getting up so I better sign off. Have a great day!

  2. Lucky they are small squares, if you were making a large blanket, you'd be baking under it :D

  3. Oh I'm getting excited Lady Helsie!
    Thank you so much!!
    Hugs and Love Suex

  4. How wonderful Helen that you are able to join in with this beautiful square. It will have to be the centrepiece as its from Lady Helsie!!!!

  5. Hey Lady, the squares are coming along really nicely! I am loving the patchwork cushion - did you make it - have I missed it? **Kim**x
