  1. Apparently everyone in Australia is young and slim. Of course, if some of us...ahem, more mature folk chose to sunbathe, perhaps it would clear the beach a bit :-) Here it's just plain old Monday, no celebrations, just the regular grind....which reminds me I haven't had a cuppa coffee yet....

  2. Well that's the image we like to project anyway !!
We more mature folk .. as you say.... have more sense than to lie out in the sun anyway! Hope the rest of your week is good too !

  3. Happy Australia Day, Helsie! We've had a mega snowy day here today, quite the opposite of the sunny Australia Days I remember from home. Hope you had a lovely day.

    1. Lots of sun here still Louise-such a big change to what you have now. Both have their disadvantages but I could do with a bit of cold weather about now !

  4. How kind of Mr Abbott to think of knighting Prince Philip! What did he say at the Aboriginal Cultural Park in 2002 when speaking to aboriginal leader William Blinn? Oh I remember, "Do you still throw spears at each other?"

    2. I still have my marbles unlike our PM. Fancy knighting a handbag that walks behind his wife.

  6. What a fun photo -- but which sunbathing young lady is you, Helsie?

I caught up a bit and enjoyed your Kelpie post, too!
