A FAVOURITE FROM 2009

I started blogging on the 20th August, 2009.

Slowly.

I didn't really know what to post about, I just liked fiddling about with computers.

Then one day, when I was telling a friend how interesting it was to peek into people's lives from all over the world simply by reading their blogs, she put me on the path.

"If you find that interesting then do the same thing and they might find your posts interesting too."

Since then my blog has become a sort of chronicle of my life and interests here in Oz.

In 2009 I wrote 54 posts.

It's about my favourite tree , the Jacaranda, which incidently is just beginning to burst into bloom all over Brisbane at the moment.

Anyone else have a favourite from the past?

Cheers.

  1. Those trees along the road are a beautiful sight. The picture is nice too. :)
I wonder if the person who planted the trees lived long enough to see them big and blooming? Hopefully they did.

    1. They are not native trees David, they come originally from South America.

  3. I love Jacaranda trees ...so pretty!

You and I started blogging within a couple of months of one another. I think one my favourite posts is when I cracked it about being the only one here that ever changed the toilet roll and wrote the family a tutorial on how to do it !

A favourite old post of mine is a modest little post about my garden. http://delphine-angua.blogspot.co.nz/2008/12/our-garden.html
