FINDING A NEW CHALLENGE

Here's Sally facing her latest challenge - hiking through the mountains in Switzerland !

This photo was taken yesterday at Hörnlihütte "pinch" at 3260m and that is the Matterhorn behind her.

A couple of days before that it was the Hohtürli high pass.

Seeing these mountains is on my Bucket List.

Hiking up  them is not !!

I plan to travel up them in the comfort of a gondola, funicular railway or cable car.

Can't wait to see the rest of her photos.

Cheers.

  1. You and I are so alike. Hiking I will not. Now a days biking, well that would be a maybe. Did I tell you my brother and his wife are spending a month this October hiking in Nepal. Wasn't that her last trip. And I'm sure this was one of Steve and Susie last trip. They do think a like. But, I'm with you as far as see from a far on the ground and not moving at any fast pace.

  4. Your Sally is very adventurous! I like to look at mountains. I'm not as crazy about being in them. Our Rockies are huge too. The first time I saw them raising out of the plains I couldn't believe it. Hiking in the mountains would be too much for me.

  5. Mmmm...you probably wouldn't want to see her pictures of her dates with Hans the handsome Austrian ski instructor or Giuseppe the Italian lothario.
