Apologies to those of you who haven't heard from me regularly .
Sometimes I can comment, sometimes I can't!
It seems to be quite random.
I've tried Anonymous and sometimes that works and sometimes it doesn't.
Be assured I'm still looking and reading and TRYING to comment.
Hope it sorts itself out soon !
Cheers
I read somewhere that there is a "fix" for this...but as it wasn't affecting me, I just passed right by it! Poor old Blogger...it's definitely a love/hate thing with him, isn't it?!
ReplyDeleteI know how frustrating this is, cause I went through it too. Some of it has to do with the set-up of the blogs - see this post - http://aussiemaria.blogspot.com/2011/05/blogger_31.html
ReplyDeleteAnd another tip I was given - when you sign in to your Google account make sure the "Keep me signed in" box does NOT have a tick in it
Good luck
I think we are all having the same problem at time. When you go to sign in. Un-check the box to stay signed in. It seems to help for a while. Oooops, just saw that Maria was quicker than me with the tip, which by the way, came from me....giggle...
ReplyDeleteHi Helsie,
ReplyDeleteI wondered why I got an "Anonymous" comment from you. That explains it. Sometimes my followers are blank in my sidebar... it seems to come and go. I don't always have time to comment when I am blog reading. We just did a video chat with our niece on Skype. Our first time. That is so amazing. Have a lovely day!
The Blogger commnent issues have been such a pain. I've done what Maria and the Garden Bell Recommend and have unchecked the "stay signed in box". That has fixed the comment problem for me anyway.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pest. I hope it gets sorted out for your soon. Are you getting fired up for July's scavenger hunt? Looks like an interesting list.

I had trouble leaving messages till someone suggested to untick the box that says 'stay signed in'.

Same thing is happening for me too. But luckily I can comment on yours!
ReplyDeleteI reckon it's something to do with Internet Explorer. I switch to using Google Chrome (as did Foody) and all seems OK now. Touch wood.
ReplyDeleteI've also noticed it works with 'pop-up' boxes for comments but not when they are embedded below the post itself as yours is here. (I'm using Chrome so let's see if this works?)
This is where I'm all smug and say I have a Mac, use Safari and I don't have these problems, it must be something to do with the internet browser you use. Now watch me eat my words, so I'll just say touch wood, just in case.
ReplyDeleteI had commenting troubles too, but when I went onto Google Chrome they vanished! It was Uncle Bernard's suggestion so all due praise to him!
ReplyDeleteI have had the same problem
