MAKING ME HAPPY TODAY

These things are making me happy today:

1. A bit of cleaning, tidying and prettifying.

Study all spic and span

and this lovely picture frame finally set up with family photos now in position.

2. Expecting good friends for dinner.

Table set

and Lamb Shanks cooking away.
mmmmmmm the house is smelling good !

3. The sun is shining brightly outside and it's 23 degrees C.

A typical Winter's day in Brisbane!

4. A new project involving nine patch squares on the go.

Some already made...

and some lovely colour combinations ready to go.

Hope you're feeling chirpy too today !

Cheers.

  2. All looking good and glad you are happy. Your winter temperatures are higher than our summer ones - it's supposed to be warmer today than yesterday and is expected to reach 18 degrees!!!

  4. Don't your trees drop their leaves in Winter Helsie? Your garden still looks very green from here. I agree with Kath, it does look sooooo tidy.
I should feel like leaving my shoes outside by the front door! :)

  6. Oooh ...I love the colours in those fabrics...and now Im wondering what you're going to do with them.

Is you house always that tidy? It looks seriously like a show home. I really like the shot of your semi enclosed outdoor area - I can see myself sitting there with a cocktail!

  7. Bernard:
No our trees keep their leaves in Winter so they're always green ... well an Aussie green which is a lot different to an English green!!
    Kath, Bernard, Shay:
