A LONG AWAITED DELIVERY

Finally,
this afternoon,
I delivered Sally's quilt!

It's been ready for ages but obstacles kept preventing its delivery.

It didn't take us long to put it in position.



Doesn't it look great?


The colours are perfect in her bedroom....


and it sits beautifully on her pretty bed.




Some smaller projects next, I think.

    Oh Helsie, that is so beautiful! No wonder Sally was pleased, as others have already said, this is an heirloom to be passed down through the family. I'm so pleased you included your photos on the label, what a lovely finishing touch. You are such a great Mum.

    What a beautiful quilt! Your daughter will treasure it forever. I love your signature too! My hubby always called his mother "Mum" too. So sweeet...what a wonderful "Mum" you are!

    Thanks for the advice on my bench cover. I think I will take it. I will be happier in the end even if it is more work!

    A beautiful quilt. I love the colours and the design. Simple but so effective. Is it hand quilted? I love the label, too, a super idea to have yourself on it.
