Finally,
this afternoon,
I delivered Sally's quilt!
It's been ready for ages but obstacles kept preventing its delivery.
It didn't take us long to put it in position.
Doesn't it look great?
The colours are perfect in her bedroom....
and it sits beautifully on her pretty bed.
Some smaller projects next, I think.
Cheers.
its beautiful, I am sure she will treasure this forever!
ReplyDeleteWhat an heirloom you have given her. It is just beautiful. Job well done!
ReplyDeleteOh Helsie, that is so beautiful! No wonder Sally was pleased, as others have already said, this is an heirloom to be passed down through the family. I'm so pleased you included your photos on the label, what a lovely finishing touch. You are such a great Mum.
ReplyDeleteThe quilt is beautiful and I love that you made the pillow shams also. Your daughter must be so happy.
ReplyDeleteShe must be so thrilled. What a lovely present to keep and treasure.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful quilt! Your daughter will treasure it forever. I love your signature too! My hubby always called his mother "Mum" too. So sweeet...what a wonderful "Mum" you are!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the advice on my bench cover. I think I will take it. I will be happier in the end even if it is more work!
It is beautiful and I love the little extra touch with the 'made by mum' label! I assume you also made those pillow cases?
ReplyDeleteIt looks fabulous Helen, what a beautiful gift for Sally.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and well worth the wait I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteHow on earth do you get that "Mum" label made? A lovely finishing touch.
ReplyDeleteThat really is a work of art. I bet Sally adores it. It looks so beautiful on the bed.
ReplyDeleteAmazing Helen. What a wonderful quilt. I so love your beautiful design tag too
ReplyDeleteVery jealous, green with envy :-)
A beautiful quilt. I love the colours and the design. Simple but so effective. Is it hand quilted? I love the label, too, a super idea to have yourself on it.
ReplyDeleteIt really is beautiful and couldn't be a better match for the colours in the room. She must be over the moon with it.
