BUNNIES OR BILBIES ON THE HIPS?

On the morning of Easter Sunday I awoke to find a trail of Easter goodies from the front door to the bedroom.

The Easter Bunny had paid us a visit!
( must have found a special at Woolworths by the amount of goodies that he left behind !!)

Yes, I said the Easter Bunny

not the Easter Bilby.

It's very hard to break the habit of years of Easter Bunnies and replace them with Easter Bilbies
.

If you are having trouble understanding this post perhaps you should follow this link to a post from way back in 2011.

Whichever way you look at it, all that chocolate is going to make it harder to fit into that aeroplane seat in three weeks time !!

Cheers.

  1. Do you still have Woolworths...? Or is this a completely different shop?

  2. You wait until you get to Brughes.

You'll love it in those shops - but don't overdo it or they may not get you back on the plane!!!
    (only joking ) Cheers....B

  3. Julie: Woolworths and Coles are our two big supermarket chains here in Oz. Lack of competition means they have a bit of a stranglehold I'm afraid.

  4. Bernard: Unfortunately we won't get to Bruges thyis time. It's on my list for the future though !!

  5. That's great. I've just read your post about the bilbies though and it is very sad. I think Australia as a whole should adopt the easter bilby and do away the bunny!

  6. Three weeks...you must be so excited to the big count down. It's what we were doing this time last year.
