A UNIVERSAL PROBLEM

When I read this post by Mrs Pyjamas about toilet rolls it struck a chord.
It seems the residents of my house and hers exhibit similar behaviours.
There is this inability to replace the used up toilet roll with a replacement.
The empty roll stays on the holder while its replacement is on the floor
or on the vanity,
waiting for SOMEONE ELSE to do the job.

But today I realised that this problem is universal.
It happens in houses all over the world.

I came to this realisation when I saw this photo on a friend from New Zealand's Facebook.

Enough said !!

Cheers.

  2. I had to laugh at this post Helsie. My dad always left one square on the roll so someone else would have to change it. Unbelievable!! :-)

  3. OMG it's catching. Hide all the toilet paper - quickly!

  4. It's the same here too along with leaving one or two items on the draining board after offering to dry up and asking where the towels live after nearly 40 years of marriage!!

It must be a man thing.

  6. It's just the same in our house!!!!!! Even if they manage to use a new loo roll, the empty roll just lays discarded on the floor. GGGRRR!!! Nice to share a moan once in a while ;-) Have a great week. Ros

  7. Of course living ones own, one never encounters this problem. It's no joke hobbling off to look out a new roll when you need one, so I usually have three or four to hand along the windowsill. You see standing them on their end avoids the problem of "do I hang it with the paper close to the wall....or away from the wall?
Now there is the chance of a survey Helen. :)

  8. Yep! My husband uses a teaspoon and then leaves it on the side - right next to the dishwasher!

There's an award waiting for you if you fancy playing along ..
