ALL OVER

That's it !
It's all over.
All over for another year.
Let the clean up begin !

Today I woke up and thought...
 " That's it.  I  NEED everything gone! "

So .........

I collected all of the decorations......

.......... and packed them back into the box.

Then I tackled the tree.

Off came the decorations............

A couple of forlorn looking presents were still under the tree looking for owners.

Better hurry up or they'll get packed up too!

Now to clean the house and we'll be ready  for 2010 !

Cheers.

  1. Hi Helsie,
I plan to start tomorrow (which is really today - since I am sitting up with heavy sinus drainage) collecting my Christmas decorations. I have loads of laundry to do too so I don't expect to finish putting away all the stuff until the end of the week. Usually I leave it all up until the middle of January but with our trip at the end of January I have to start earlier. I have several birthday gifts I need to get before we leave too so we can mail them so they arrive on time. My hubby decided to take our old solid oak TV cabinet (temporarily standing in the foyer/dining room) apart rather than try to drag it outside to throw away. I hope to have it made into a narrower cabinet for china. Of course I have no idea of the cost of doing something like that or if we can even find someone to do it. Well, I better go. My sinus pill seems to be taking affect so maybe I can get back to sleep before the night is through.

    Hugs,
    Teacup Lane (Sandy)

  2. Helsie,
I got mine all done this weekend, cleaned under cabinets, cleaned out closets, did it all lots of hard work, but it was worth it, now i can enjoy my visit with turtle and mydaughter knowing that the house is all in order. I did leave a string of pretty red lights out i figured i would do something for Valentines day and turtle loves pretty lights.
I can't believe how cold it is here this morning 31 degrees F and i thought i lived in Florida. Have a great day!

  4. I felt much better once it was all done! It's still very cold here with more snow forecast. So, although I've just started back to school today, amd hoping for a 'snow' day later in the week. Ros
