PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERIMENT

Tonight I thought I would try some night time photos around the house but I have found it is not so easy to get that dimly lit, twinkly look.

I've experimented with the flash - no good - just like daytime!

I've experimented with the lights out  - no good too dark!

I've tried with the lights on no flash and that gives me the best effect though not perfect so I'm going with these.
Just wanted to show you our pretty fibre optic Christmas tree.

This is it in the daytime.

...and this is it at night !

The lights are part of the tree so no more fussing with Christmas lights and they change colour all the time.

It is quite beautiful, don't you think?

.......................

And it's almost time for lift off !

Only 2 more sleeps !

Cheers

  1. Hello Helsie,
Great Christmas tree! You know the trees with lights are so good. So hassle free. When I think back to Dad going around tightening the damn bulbs up, when they went out. Dreadful job.
Your tree looks really good. I've had to come through Garden Bell to get you. I can't sign in again. I had the same trouble yesterday, such a nuisance. Then of course one of my photos didn't show up. One of yours at the top isn't there either. Just a box.
    I think its them.
I shall have my lap top on all the time, so if you want to check in, please feel free to do so.
I can't have Christmas without you all! Our secret friends! ha.ha.
I've just crocheted a Butterfly and stuck it on my moms gift bag. She has two pieces of Amethyst stone inside. Her house is all purple and collects these most beautiful pieces. She has tons of the stuff. You ask her what she wants, it's got to be Ameythst.
    Chat soon Helsie,
    Hugs and Love Suex

Have a great peaceful Christmas. Glad to see that Sue could get through me to you. Aren't we just the silliest group.....

  3. Hi Helsie

The photos turned out just fine. Your tree looks great and it's amazing you can get them with the lights on already. You have to decorate it each year though I guess!

    Merry Christmas to you.
